Who: Jareth and Gul Dukat Where: Dukat's room When: After their conversation on the Network. What: Jareth goes over to see, uh, Dukat's baby. Too bad she's in his head these days.
Dukat cradled a pillow Ziyal gently against his chest, currently not wearing his breastplate. He was deeply concerned about Naprem, but she could at least take care of herself. Ziyal was only a few months old, completely helpless in this place with enemies crawling like vermin. Since he had just recently invited Jareth, he was fairly certain it was his expected guest.
Shifting her to one arm, nonetheless, he put one hand to his weapon before opening the door a crack, then wider once he saw who was there. He lifted her back to his chest and shoulder, cradling the back of her head with one hand. "She just got settled," he said softly as he stepped back to admit him. "Please, come in."
Jareth stepped into the room and looked around for the baby, not considering for a moment that the pillow Dukat was gripping was meant to be the infant in question. Perhaps she was asleep in the bedroom. He wouldn't disturb her, in that case.
"I am glad you were able to settle her down," Jareth commisserated.
"So am I," he said. "She always has been calmer with her mother. It's only natural. I'm not able to spend much time with them. Would you care for something to drink? The refrigeration unit stays stocked well enough." Hospitality was important, after all.
"I should probably see if I can find a crib in the attic of this place. I don't like leaving her on the bed." He lightly caressed the infant's back while waiting to see if Jareth wanted refreshment.

"Do not let me keep you from tending to her," he said. "I can find a refreshment myself."
