In the grand tradition of RPers everywhere, this is the place where you can let me know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it.  Think I'm screwing up somewhere?  Tell me politely and I'll see what I can do ( Read more... )

What an interesting character, especially the way you play her from what I've seen, your character relationships and the play-by you picked. Perhaps if I'm lucky, I'll run into your lovely character in the future, I do like how you've interpreted her quite a bit.

You'll forgive me if I'm still flailing and rather late thanking you for this wonderful comment I hope. I absolutely did not expect to get something so kind about her, or any comment at all in fact. So yes, thank you so much!

And since you don't seem to have a post where I can say some nice things in return, I'll say them here. You are one of the best Englands I've had the pleasure to play with and I'm enjoying our thread in d_m so much. :> I would love to do so again sometime in the future.

She's bloody marvelous, actually, another friend of mine has said so as well. He doesn't possess a livejournal, however. Your knowledge of current events and history is astounding, and the way you work it into your character is wonderful. It really is a pleasure to see someone put that much effort into their character.

Oh! Thank you so much, I'm enjoying our thread quite a bit, and I'm glad you posted there! I wanted to play with you, so. I would as well, I hope you don't mind too much that I added you as a friend, I'm up for plotting at any point, of course.

This has pretty much made my week, really it has. Please tell your friend I said thank you. I just really think if you're going to play a nation, it'd be best to know what you're talking about, so I just sat down and effectively rewrote the whole of the Republic's wikipedia article (by hand and then typed it up) and bought four books on Irish history, as well as checked several out of the library. And then just this past week I subscribed to the Irish Times email digests and started following their twitter. I... have a lot of time on my hands, plus I'm 1/8th Irish so I really want to get things right.

I don't mind at all, no! And really, your comment was a major reason I decided to post, when I'd been hemming and hawing over doing so for awhile now. I'll probably end up doing it again eventually. I'm actually rather shy (and a bit rambbly, it would seem), but I'm up for plotting at some point as well.
