We're not... well acquainted, but I could really use some able-bodied help right now. If others pass off on you, I could definitely stand to assign some shifts.

I don't have the authority to say yes or no, though.

Thing is, with all the people out of action, who has the authority to say yes or no anyway?

I'm Captain Swing, my warden's the Doctor - with the scarf. I'm a watchman, a policeman. I'm not inexperienced.

You don't have to leave me in lone charge, and I will not request arms. I simply want to do what I can.

I just want to hear the word from Angel and your Warden. After that? You can pick up some of the patrols so I can actually do my job in zero since we have an inmate there.

Great. I made a note of it in the post I just put up, but I'm putting on the 9am-1pm patrol shift for the foreseeable future.

I guess Wichita wants you helping in zero, too. She or another warden can let you down there if you want to keep an eye on things down there for a while.
