I love the metaphor-simile: had to google the scientific name, but it is Zack, perfectly-- "...they will not tolerate dramatic changes to their environment...tend to be timid and...should not be kept with large or aggressive fish who may bully or simply eat them." That said, I will never look at a Neon Tetra fish the same way again. Brilliantly done, and beautifully written.

Hooray, I’m glad someone noticed all the thought I put in picking out the fish! I seem to have an animal-metaphor thing going on lately; in my Cam/Zack fic he was a puppy, now he’s a fish, hahahaha. ;)

That was just painfully beautiful and so perfectly written! A wonderful insight into how Hodgins could be feeling with an added touch of the Jack/Angela ship that I adore! I especially loved how it was written from Jack's point of view and yet you still managed to deal with Zach's numerous relationships and "infatuations" I specifically loved the Angela/Zach one.
