...the Yu-Gi-Oh! license -which accounts for approximately 40% of 4Kids’ revenues...

I knew they relied on YGO a whole hell of a lot, but not to this extent. That's...kind of incredible.

I'm really not sure if we'll ever get a GX dub of s4. Besides just being really weird, Sartorius's VA died and he's got a pretty big part in S4. :'( She was one of the few dub voices I really liked, and she gave him this great distinctive creepy voice that I don't think would be too easy to duplicate.

still, I wish I could see it dubbed just for FRANCIS SEAGRASS

Probably no dub on the horizon, I agree.

Still waiting to hear about a Toonzaki sub, though... that's still a possibility if they finish 5D's subs.

OMG, Francis Seagrass!!
Did you make that up? Hahah, oh man, I have to use that somewhere now!

Still, total truth about Sartorius and Maddie Blaustein. Rest in peace.

I doubt that either 4Kids or a new license-holder would dub season 4 for various reasons, unless they went back to the beginning, even then, DM is probably more desired than GX. ( ;_; )

But, I'm actually glad that they'll have a chance to finish 5D's. If only because after seeing their Crashtown, I can't wait to see what they do with the Arc Cradle.. arc...

haha, nah, I vaguely remember Francis Seagrass being a tiny meme in GX fandom when S4 was first coming out. I'd put money on them giving him a British accent, too.

Im not surprised about the revenue amount, considering its the last big anime license they still have (for now). The other part probably comes from broadcasting DBZ Kai

Well, after the contract with Pokemon ended, as well as their contract with SEGA, all 4Kids has anymore is Yu-Gi-Oh. During the height of 4Kids TV, the show that kept that ship afloat was Sonic X.

As much as we all... well, not really hate, I guess more dislike, 4Kids, it would be a bit sad to see them lose the liscence, because without the dub, the fandom wouldn't be this big over here. We wouldn't have the cards or the merch.

Although I'm kinda glad Jack gets to keep his sexy accent. >_>
