So when is the movie coming to theatres and will it be subtitled or dubbed? I hope they subtitle it. I really don't want to hear some crappy dialogue. I already have been tortured by the third Twilight film...Ugh.
... have some respect for the people who actually LIKE the dub. Both the sub and dub have their merits. And if the people who posted this took the time to talk to and get their pics taken with a dub actor, don't you think they might actually be some of the aforementioned people who like the dub?
Whoever you are, I was just stating an opinion which I am entitled to even though I was crass. The preview they saw was in subtitles. I saw both the original Yugioh movie in dub and subbed and I saw the whole series like that. Not everyone likes it or is going to like it. I don't want to start a war, because yes I will admit in the beginning when they first released it here, the dub was good, but then something happened later on.
I do have respect for the voice actors portraying the characters and the people who posted here. I just don't have much respect for the screen writers. I do appreciate slifertheskydragon for putting the videos up though.
My POINT as crass as maybe I should not have made it, is that I am tired of what is in the theatres these days. The last good movie I saw was District 9 and maybe Predators. I hope to God that 4Kids does a good job with this with the dialogue. That is all I ask!
Well, good thing there is next to no plot so they can't screw the dialogue up. much...
But I don't know if I can handle hearing Honda being in the movie. (because every time I try to stomach the US version, I hear Honda speaking through Yusei's mouth.)
... none of you people are ever happy, are you? Greg Abbey is Yusei in the dub. GET OVER IT. The man is kind and considerate to his fans, and frankly he's a far better dub actor than some of the other people out there. More importantly, they hire him to do a job and he does it. Just like most of us do and the rest of us are supposed to.
Yeah he sounds like a nice guy. But with Kaiba as an example. I saw Pokemon long before I saw Yugioh, and never made the connection between Brock and Kaiba. Until I saw the TAS and all those Brock jokes came up. But with Yusei, it's just obvious. I don't follow VA's much to at all, so when I click on a link to watch a dub ep straight out the gate only to hear Honda.
Then do us a favor and stop trying to watch the dub. Just stick with the Japanese and let the fans who like the dub or both live without having to deal with complaining.
