It wouldn't be so bad except I kind of needed an answer to be able to proceed with my job, and I'd already wasted several days and quite a bit of gas and frustrating fruitless conversations with several other folks based on previous misinformation *sigh* Ah well.

Nonhelpful answers were very nonhelpful - I finally gave up and did things the way I always do but get scolded for, but the scolding person is also the not!helpful person, and I beleive he is now fully aware that he has no ground on which to stand from which to scold me (I see your punctuation abuse and I raise you one convoluted grammar thingy!) and also that he owes me chocolate, big time.
