Whew, some long days this week - just coming up for air here! One of the higher up managers is watching the nature center today so I can have a day off; she was super nervous about handling weird nature center stuff - this week we've had people show up with every thing from a baby coyote to a snapping turtle hit by a car to a gentleman recovering ( Read more... )

That's one thing about my job, never boring! I haven't gotten any phone calls, so I'm assuming everything went ok, although I'm a little afraid of what I'll find when I go in tomorrow...
Shower had! Jungle mowed! And now I need another shower - that was a hot and sweaty job.
Got new card today, went and updated my Netflix and a couple other accounts, fairly painless ^^
Sunstreaker's getting pretty good at this "throwing Aid over his shoulder" business (Sunny's been unconscious all the times Aid's thrown him over his shoulder) :D

I'll say Snappers are tough! Hit by a car and still alive??? (wait, hit, not driven over ... still, sounds very hurtful and deadly [dear and elk do plenty of damage to cars, but they also tend to die when hit ( ... )

Yeah, I think it was probably more of a glancing blow rather than straight driven over.

I'd love to have goats mow my grass! City limits though, so I don't think I'm allowed to have them here, and yeah, they'd probably eat all my flower gardens too unless I could fence them off somehow.

I actually do have a couple of milkweed transplanting activities for kids schedules, for a couple daycamps and a family Nature Day ^_^

Squirrel is outside now and seems very happy, and I am very happy to have him out of my bedroom!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat with writing - lots of brain lurking, not so much with the ink *sigh*
