My bluebird box had four species of birds fighting over it this spring: bluebirds, house sparrows, chickadees, and Carolina wrens. The chickadees won (I put up a couple more nest boxes - bluebird family has already moved in.)

Birdies and possums are cute, shooting star is really pretty, and the slime mold is awesome!

ALL THE BABIES!!! And I just acquired a very small baby raccoon today (was doing my best not to take any, because I'm just not in a position to do expensive and time consuming-even-though-extremely-adorable wildlife this spring, but everyone's full up, and this guy was in the yard of one of our park regulars, dead sibling beside him, so...yeah. I took the baby. He's really cute ^_^)

Unrecognized slime molds, lol! That slightly slumpy lady, who sits on the same bench all the time...maybe she wasn't really a lady O_O

And the baby chickadees fledged today! Came home to much flurrying and chickadee-calling as the parents frantically tried to keep track of all five or six babies in the trees - hee! :D
