That's an interesting twist on Optimus as Archivist/librarianbot......

Yeah, Sentinel's really really good at pretending to be a decent fellow, but he slipped up here.

It seems to run in the family! Spawned and hatched in a library, his sisters all turn out to be librarian-ish, not sure about his brother yet, but I bet he's a dorky nerd-bot of some sort, too ^^

Sounds like Perceptor to me.
All (G1-cartoon version) is missing is the blue paint - he's got the red. Lots of it. And would prefer NOT to fight.

I had another mech in mind, but OMG that makes a lot of sense for Perceptor to be the brother of five sisters that turn into a gestalt named "Vocabularion" - lol!

Hee hee, yep! :D They've been percolating away since June or so, and then someone on Ao3 was wondering about wee baby Optimus and whether he was Sentinel's hatchling or where he had come from, and suddenly Optimus had his five long lost sisters. I'm a sucker for long lost sibling stories (I might have been the only one completely delighted when Leia turned out to be Luke's sister, lol).

Yeah, that molding thing didn't turn out quite the way Sentinel intended, did it. Young Megatron might have had a thing or two to do with that ^_~
