Trying to get back into the writing swing again, so going to see if I can manage to write a snippet a week, and Saturday is (usually) my day off, and also alliteration. That should be doable, right? So!
No warnings, just weary, silly P-bots :)

I still haven't figured out in my own headcanon if it takes extra energy to remain in combined mode, or if they can stay Defensor indefinitely. I'm leaning towards indefinitely, though, especially if they get a change to recharge as Defensor, but then do they run the risk of losing their separate selves entirely if they stay combined too long? As the P-bots get older I have them being able to draw on one another's skills and personality strengths more and more, even when they're not combined, but still able to stay distinctly themselves - I wouldn't want them to lose that.

I do adore the Protectobots (especially how you write them)
Very easy to see/understand how they could forget who they are ... more to exhaustion than being mentally merged as Defensor, I think (then again, extended times as Defensor might explain how, when necessary, they can pull on the other's ability, knowledge, talents, ... personality. Because they KNOW how their brothers think, would act, might respond, will behave in specific sitations.).
Still giggling at the mispronunciations of designations.
They are too cute!
Especially when they finally settle into rechange.

Yeah, I think here it's mostly exhaustion, but bingo! That's exactly what I was thinking, too, for the P-bots being able to draw on one another's talents as they get older.
P-bot names are fun to play with! Wouldn't work quite as well for the Aerialbots, I think, hmmm...Silverdive? Fire Raid? Slingbolt? Or, it works, but not quite the same silly factor, lol.
