Last month someone found a beautiful mama red bat and her two babies stuck on the ground, and brought them to me - she wasn't hurt, perked up nicely after a few days of all the mealworms she could eat, so let her and the kids go.   Figured she just got tired lugging those two huge babies around - I'm sure together they outweighed her!  I only

I KNOW!! their little ears quiver to every sound like radar dishes, and after they eat a bug they wash their faces with the teeniest little pink tongues *dies of massive kyoot overdose*

I've never understood why so many people are freaked out by them...to me they're adorable. ^_^ I would love to have some outside my house but I dunno if there are any around my area....
