[Stango is already jumpy, and you don't make detective in New York City without having some kind of instincts. He stops.]

*Well crap, he wasn't expecting Stango to stop so suddenly so he nearly runs into the other man. He jumps back out of arms reach. He's wary of Stango since their last encounter.*

*The silence stretches, the Masked Man looks like he's out of breath and panting but no sound escapes him.*

[Slowly, Stango turns. Jesus, the guy got close before he noticed.]

Where are you going?

[He suppresses a shudder--it's Tim's voice, but without inflection, without life.]

*He suddenly turns his head to the left looking deep into the forest. He tilts his head slightly as if listening to something.*

[He puts a hand inside his coat, reassured by the feel of his gun against his hand, but he doesn't draw. He can't shoot Tim. Not yet, not before he's sure.]

*He jerks slightly at the mention of his name*
