Soccer is such an unbelievable sport that involves so much talent. It incorporates beauty and pure brute strength. It baffles me how something so hugely popular in Europe and EVERYWHERE else in the world (except maybe Canada) gets absolutely no respect in America. Is it because there is little scoring? Is it because the players aren't recognizable? Americans could sure use the excercise soccer provides. Well... I might be biased because I grew up with a good balance of baseball and soccer... but it would be cool for Adu to shine some kind of light on to a sport ignored by so many.
