I hate the dentist

Why is it that no matter how old I get I still need to learn certain lessons? I mean, I actually do like my dentist. He's a really nice guy. But I hate going to the dentist. Which means I put it off unnecessarily and for no good reason, since I'm well covered under my health plan. Which also meant today that I found out that I have an ( Read more... )

Don't. Make the appointment. Don't be like me - although, if you do end up in my situation, I'm sure you'll describe it in much more eloquent and interesting prose.

(How long until the second season of "Rome"? I'm having serious James Purefoy withdrawal...)

It is not possible to describe a visit to the dentist in any good way. It would defy Shakespeare.

I am not sure about Rome, but I think they've been filming for a bit. And Purefoy is going to be in some new BBC thing about Beau Brummel. Yum!

A) Go to the dentist regularly. I do. Really. And I hate dentists too. And mine isn't even cute. Or female.

B) If you're not going to update your journal regularly, then you should... Ah, never mind.

Well, you're about as sympathetic as my parents were. No, seriously. That's the first thing they said to me. I suppose I'll tell you what I told them: "I know."
