Early in grad school, I picked up the habit of skimming Phys. Rev. Lett. and arXiv/quant-ph for interesting-looking papers and writing two-sentence summaries of their big ideas. I'm thinking of taking the resulting paper-summaries file, or at least its stream of future ( Read more... )

yst? ikiwki. anything with pandoc as a backend will handle bibtex, markdown, and tex for math.

Promising suggestions all. I'll look into them more carefully once the current round of funding review paperwork gets sorted out. They've already led me to think more carefully about what I would need/want to support such a project. Well-considered requirements are a good thing.

I suspect I might be wiser to start by generating some worthwhile content and worry about the infrastructure later, but infrastructure is fun to think about.
