Nice photos Allyne, the Capitol and the rotunda photos look really impressive. The photo of the Washington monument is from the Capitol, right? I can see an arched doorway in the Capitol photo.

Hi Prem - thanks! When I was up the steps I looked up and saw the lovely view ahead of me. Yes, it's the Washington monument. I think I took it from the Lincoln memorial. You can spend a month at the Capital and not see enough of it.

Nope Alleyne, it is not from the Lincoln Memorial, since the reflecting pool is not there. Also you shot that photo from under an arch, that arch is visible in your photo of the Capitol.

My brother and me were there in 92 for just two days, heh! heh!, needless to say we just scratched the surface;-)
