- What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
I would want to be in the wizarding government, or a lawyer. I am fascinated by the law and by politics. I'm an amazing debater, if I do say so myself. I have beliefs and I will never, ever give them up, because people's arguments cannot sway me! It's costed me some relationships, but it's okay because I need friends who can put up with my activism. Or... technically, lack thereof... (I'm a Republican so...) I get very involved in things I'm passionate in, and I'm sure I'd be a fiery lawyer, or a politician with a damn good chance at becoming the next Ministry of Magic!!
- If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
I would teach charms!! I'd love to be able to make things move with the flick of a wand, or to levitate, or to break apart! It's something so incredibly supernatural that I cannot compare it with anything else that I have ever imagined... I only wish I could truly preform charms. I've meditated and tried to move things, but of course it's been futile. It would be a power like no other...
- This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
Haha YEAH RIGHT. I want to live as long as I can! I would never, ever, ever EVER even CONCEIVE of entering. I'm also a coward, I'd start bawling at the SIGHT of a dragon, I'd cry for my mom! :) I'd watch, thanks.
- If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
Hmm... I'd say probably a cat. I know, probably so overused, right? But I truly believe that I am like a cat, and that I was certainly a cat in a past life. I have the right movements, I'm very catlike - I'm slender, graceful and EXTREMELY quiet. I love lying around and stretching. Even my personality is like a cat. I appear aloof, presumptuous, and reserved most of the time. Of course, once you get to know me, I'm pretty nice.
- What HP character do you identify with most and why?
Oh, I would definitely say a few people. I see myself as being quite like Luna Lovegood, in that, once you get to know me, I'm rather eccentric and random, and can get people to smile sometimes without trying. Because as graceful as I am, I am also occasionally a klutz and a little ditzy. I also am a little geeky like her, and often quote political figures... to the annoyance of everyone. But I don't see myself as a nerd, nobody does!!!
Many people have said that I'm kind of like Parvarti Patil in the Goblet of Fire movie, kind of coy and flirtatious, a little stuffy, but really a good person.
- What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
I would see myself in a wedding gown, with a beautiful woman also in a wedding gown, and we would be exchanging our vows for a lifetime together. I am a lesbian and I want a sweet woman who will take 100% care of me. I'm not the "provider" type, I need someone to worry about me and to always be thinking of me... I want someone to look up to. IN relationships I'm much more subordinate, and I will be for the long run. Anyway. So I'd see myself wed to my dream woman. I'd see myself rich and in a good career, with a good house and lots of status symbols!!! :-D
- If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it? Oh dear, I'd be a little vain to start. I'd get a little bit of plastic surgery in a place I've wanted it for a long time. I'd get a very good oboe, and I would buy MUCHO expensive clothing. Make people jealous, and to flaunt my new bod!!! I'd try to fix any medical problems that my wife or myself would have, and I would pay off any debt. I'd take trips with the rest!
- What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
When I was a kid I wanted to be a doctor or a teacher. Mostly for status, I confess. I felt that it would make me fell (and be) important. It's changed. I'm still a bit fascinated with medicine but I don't think I would want to be a doctor, and definitely not a pediatrician. I couldn't bear to see a child die. That is just tragic. I'm keeping an open mind though. I said before that I'd love to go to law school (Harvard........), pass the bar exam, and see where the wind then blows me - to my own law firm, to Congress, to the Oval Office? We'll see, won't we. Of course on the side, I'm also an actress and a singer, so I'd love to someday release a record, or publish a book, or be in a major motion picture. But that's not my main goal.
- If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
It would basically be Imperius... to be able to control someone's mind... but nope, it would be a little different. It would be a love potion. Makes anyone fall head-over-heels in desperate love for you, be so devoted to you that they would do anything to have you. I'd call it Magnolia because magnolias symbolize love for me.
- If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
Oh my, it would turn into my worst enemy: depression. I'm battling clinical depression right now, and my boggart would just be that hopeless, desperate, alone, lost, inexplicably sad feeling that I get occasionally during really awful times. It drives me mad, to feel so worthless. With Riddikulus, I'd see my crush... or maybe I'd see the ocean.
- What do you look for in a friend?
I look for loyalty, but not TOO much. I CANNOT stand clingy people who just will. not. go. away!!!! They don't even take a hint. I look for a confidant who I can talk to but not ever be betrayed by. I need someone with a little bit of sense of humor. :) I don't want someone who is too honest, like myself. I want someone who will tell me my butt doesnt look big in the dress, even if it does, who will tell me I'm good at grammar, even if I'm not, who will tell me they love my work (writing) even if they don't. Oh yeah, and someone with some sympathy!
- What trait most annoys you about other people?
The clingyness thing, as in, see above. I need space. I am very aloof and contemplative and don't always want people around me. I can't have it. Especially if they think that I am their BEST BEST FRIEND FOR LIFE and in truth, I hate them!!!
- What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
-I am really smart, always learning and wondering, always pondering and thinking and dreaming. And I am not naive. I am not swayed easily either. -I am very intuitive and can almost always read between the lines. -I am really very clever. If I want something, I WILL get it. I absolutely will. I have 100% faith in my cleverness. Through research and "connections" you can get whatever you want. End of story. -I am actually very good at all of the arts. I am fascinated by theatre and have always been a part of it, as well as singing and dancing and drawing and writing. I write up a storm, every day! -I have the ability to be sort of a chameleon. I can put up whatever front I want to put up, depending on whom I am with, and how I feel. And in a politician's way, as well. I can make people like me by acting a certain way.
- What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
-My heavens. I am as jealous as a snake. If that's the expression. Or is it jealous as a tiger? Yeah, that's it. I am very jealous. I try not to but I put myself on a pedestal all the time. -I like making other people jealous of me. It's not a nice thing to enjoy, but I do. I love being envied, being a role model, having people who would kill to be me. -I am a snob. I look down on others for certain reasons, sometimes, and it's not very nice. I know it's not, but I have rights to my own opinions. -I am a slave of luxury and of fashion. I love wealth and I love success. I hope I don't do anything for the wrong reason because of this. Sometimes my own morals frighten me. -I'm a worrier! I worry about everything, always. It's so stressful but it's necessary for me.
- Define in your own words the following key traits:
- Courage: The something in you, when you're feeling that you can't go on, that proves you wrong, takes you by the hand and leads you to your goal.
- Loyalty: Hmm. I'm not very loyal... I regret it but it's horribly true. Loyalty is to stay by someone's side, through think and thin, without question.
- Intelligence: A power of knowing and understanding things with a certain readiness that is not often seen.
- Ambition: Never giving up - always pushing, until something is yours. Keeping a dream.
