  • What sort of profession in the wizarding world would you choose and why?
I wouldn't. I find just being myself is enough work as it is. I find manual labor is better off left to those with lower intelligence, and many other types of jobs become tedious and mundane after so long. If I had to choose I'd say give me a job that paid well and required me to simply live my life the way I wanted to do so.

  • If you could teach one class at Hogwarts, what would it be and why?
Defense of the dark arts, my reasoning behind this is simple. I know going into this it would only be a year long position, therefore I wouldn't be bound to it. Also it is my firm belief that everyone should have the proper knowledge and ability to defend themselves from harm.

  • This year, The TriWizard Tournament is being held once again and you're of age. Do you put your name in the Goblet? Why or why not?
Of course not. Having barely turned of age I don't feel as if I'd be a worthy candidate. Although part of the criteria for being chosen, the age factor is simply a result of past tournaments gone badly. I feel that in order to be a proper candidate I'd need to have a bit more knowledge under my belt and more individualized training, especially if i plan on winning.

  • If you could choose your animagus form, what would it be and why?
I'd be a raven. Dark, mysterious, and loyal to their own. i would also love the ability to fly as I've always wanted to be able to do so ever since I was a little child. The thought of the air blowing against my face as I soared over a beautiful landscape has always excited me.

  • If you could be written into any HP Series book as a new character, which book would it be, and who would your character be? Why did you choose that book/character?
I'd be written into the very first book, this would enable my character to be featured throughout the rest of the series on various occasions. I'm not sure who or what my character would be like except that he would play a minor role until the very end where his true nature/storyline would be revealed as being vital to the plot of the series.

  • What is your favorite magical spell/charm? Why?
I'd have to say Harry's invisibility cloak which once belonged to his dad. At times we all need to get away from the madness we face in the world. This cloak allows one to do so but without having to truly run away from everything as you know that as soon as the cloak is removed you will have to once again face your demons.

  • Name three reasons why you would like to be sorted into each House.
Gryffindor: I'm loyal, dependable, and have a profound distaste for injustice
Hufflepuff: I'm introverted, humorous, and cute
Ravenclaw: I'm intelligent, sarcastic, and sharp
Slytherine: I'm elitist, quick thinking, and an attention whore (just thought i'd throw that out there to be sure everone was paying attn to me)

  • You've received your O.W.L results. What are your results? (You have to have failed or done poorly in at least one subject)
    Charms: O
    Herbology: E
    Potions: E
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O
    Ancient Runes: E
    Arithmancy: P
    History of Magic: P
    Muggle Studies: E
    Transfiguration: O

  • If you could have any superpower - but only ONE - what would it be?
I would love to have a power similar to that of Rogue from the x-men, where as she can absorb the powers/energy of another simply by touch. This of course means I would be unable to kiss or touch anyone that i cared about, but it would be a small price to pay for such an amazing power, as i do believe with every strength comes a weakness.

  • What HP character do you identify with most and why?
After recently watching the fourth movie and seeing the way the characters were portrayed in it, in comparison to the book, and reflecting back on the year 2005, at this point in my life I would have to Hermione. As it is obvious that her life would be much happier if individuals would simply man up and do what their heart is telling them to do.

  • What would you see if you looked into the Mirror of Erised?
With my luck, probably my death. Which i am fine with as it is merely a natural part of life. The idea of death is something I've really been thinking about recently trying to understand it and how I feel about it. I believe the mirror would show me my own death partially to help me realize and understand that it is simply the next step in my journey.

  • If you won a million dollars, how would you spend it?
I would start by paying off all my debt from this $40,000/yr tuition. Next I'd pay off my car note and then buy a new car, my forest green mustang hard top. Then I'd invest in some property and put the rest in savings so that i would continue to earn money.

  • Which HP book is your favorite and why?
I love how with each new book the series becomes a bit darker and you receive more detail into everything. When it comes to stories I tend to be a very detailed type person, it's the little things in life which make life worth living.

  • Which HP book is your least favorite and why?
With respect to my answer for the previous question I'd have to say the first one simply because he cannot compare to the most recent.

  • What was your ideal job as a kid? Has that changed? What is your ideal job now?
When I was a kid I wanted to be a singer. Simply to be on stage doing what I love with people cheering me on seemed like the best job in the world. Since then I've realized that anything in the entertainment industry is temporary at best and I'd prefer to have a job that guarantees a steady income. Currently my ideal job is to have my own reality show, which I've already done in a sense as I recently starred in a fake reality show.

  • If you were able to invent one spell, potion, or charm, what would it do, what would you use it for or how would you use it, and what would you call it?
It would be a type of mirror which would reflect an individual's true nature. I would use it to show those individuals who have lost hope in themselves what they truly capable of, their potential. I would call it "the dawn of truth".

  • If you were to face a boggart, what would it turn into? And what does it turn into when you throw the counter-spell, Riddikulus?
It would turn into my mother when she is angry, as I am not to sacred of many things, for she is a force to reckoned with when angered. When I did the counter-spell it would turn into a pink and purple hippo on rollerblades (a memory from a childhood dream).

  • What do you look for in a friend?
Trust, is the basis for any and very relationship
Loyalty, I like to feel as if I can depend upson those whom I call "friend"
Respect, of themseleves, me personally, and everyone/thing else
Honesty, as I said before the truth only hurts for a short period of time while deception may last forver
Confidence, for they will be unable to believe in me if they cannot fully believe in themseleves
Intelligence, I love having discussions and debates

  • What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
Complete global domination, or at least a bit of control over my own life. I say this because presently I feel as if I'm just going with the motions. I've yet to find the road which I'm suposed to trek so I've yet to really put my feet down. Step one: graduate from college with double major.

  • What trait most annoys you about other people?
Dishonesty. I'd rather be told the truth and hurt for a short period of time then be lied to and kept in the dark or even worse find out the truth later on and be hurt for an even longer period of time.

  • What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
Connectedness: Things happen for a reason. I am sure of it. I am sure of it because in my soul I know that we are all connected. Yes, we are individuals, responsible for our own judgments and in possession of our own free will, but nonetheless we are part of something larger. Some may call it the collective unconscious. Others may label it spirit or life force. But whatever the word of choice, I gain confidence from knowing that we are not isolated from one another or from the earth and the life on it. This feeling of Connectedness implies certain responsibilities. If we are all part of a larger picture, then we must not harm others because we will be harming ourselves. We must not exploit because we will be exploiting ourselves. My awareness of these responsibilities creates my value system. I am considerate, caring, and accepting. Certain of the unity of humankind, I am a bridge builder for people of different cultures.
Focus: "Where am I headed?" I ask myself. I ask this question every day. Guided by this theme of Focus, I need a clear destination. Lacking one, my life and my work can quickly become frustrating. And so each year, each month, and even each week I set goals. These goals then serve as my compass, helping me determine priorities and make the necessary corrections to get back on course. My Focus is powerful because it forces me to filter; I instinctively evaluate whether or not a particular action will help me move toward my goal. Those that don't are ignored. In the end, then, my Focus forces me to be efficient. Naturally, the flip side of this is that it causes me to become impatient with delays, obstacles, and even tangents, no matter how intriguing they appear to be. This makes me an extremely valuable team member. When others start to wander down other avenues, I bring them back to the main road. My Focus reminds everyone that if something is not helping me move toward my destination, then it is not important. And if it is not important, then it is not worth my time. I keep everyone on point.
Significance: I want to be very significant in the eyes of other people. In the truest sense of the word I want to be recognized. I want to be heard. I want to stand out. I want to be known. In particular, I want to be known and appreciated for the unique strengths I bring. I feel a need to be admired as credible, professional, and successful. Likewise, I want to associate with others who are credible, professional, and successful. And if they aren't, I will push them to achieve until they are. Or I will move on. An independent spirit, I want my work to be a way of life rather than a job, and in that work I want to be given free rein, the leeway to do things my way. My yearnings feel intense to me, and I honor those yearnings. And so my life is filled with goals, achievements, or qualifications that I crave. Whatever my focus my Significance theme will keep pulling me upward, away from the mediocre toward the exceptional. It is the theme that keeps me reaching.
Futuristic: "Wouldn't it be great if . . ." I am the kind of person who loves to peer over the horizon. The future fascinates me. As if it were projected on the wall, I see in detail what the future might hold, and this detailed picture keeps pulling me forward, into tomorrow. While the exact content of the picture will depend on my other strengths and interests-a better product, a better team, a better life, or a better world-it will always be inspirational to me. I am a dreamer who sees visions of what could be and who cherishes those visions. When the present proves too frustrating and the people around me too pragmatic, I conjure up my visions of the future and they energize me. They can energize others, too.
Arranger: I am a conductor. When faced with a complex situation involving many factors, I enjoy managing all of the variables, aligning and realigning them until I am sure I have arranged them in the most productive configuration possible. In my mind there is nothing special about what I am doing. I am simply trying to figure out the best way to get things done. But others, lacking this theme, will be in awe of my ability. "How can you keep so many things in your head at once?" they will ask. "How can you stay so flexible, so willing to shelve well-laid plans in favor of some brand-new configuration that has just occurred to you?" But I cannot imagine behaving in any other way. I am a shining example of effective flexibility, whether I am changing travel schedules at the last minute because a better fare has popped up or mulling over just the right combination of people and resources to accomplish a new project. From the mundane to the complex, I am always looking for the perfect configuration. Of course, I am at my best in dynamic situations. Confronted with the unexpected, some complain that plans devised with such care cannot be changed, while others take refuge in the existing rules or procedures. I don't do either. Instead, I jump into the confusion, devising new options, hunting for new paths of least resistance, and figuring out new partnerships-because, after all, there might just be a better way.

  • What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
Existentialistic way of thinking. In the end everything ends up being realtive as we all live in our own personal worlds. In a sense we make our own realities.
Reasoning everything to death. I find that in trying to understand things I oftern break them down a bit too far. going along with my futuristic strength I begin to see far too many options which can often hinder me from making a sound decision.
Lack of confidence at times. In others mainly, especially when it comes to work. I often find that I will take on to big of a load instead of fleshing it out amongst those below me
Easily trusting others. With my heart that is, no wonder my cousin said that my defenses have become rather strong as of recently.
Desire to control situations. If I can control the situation at hand then I can control the outcome.

  • Define in your own words the following key traits:
    • Courage: the ability to look ones self in the mirror and say “i am”
    • Loyalty: the strength to lay down ones own life for that of another
    • Intelligence: the man who knows something knows that he knows nothing at all
    • Ambition: the drive to stand alone even when against all odds

  • Name: trent
  • Age: 20
  • What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? (This question is optional for those who feel they just DO NOT fit in a house. Please explain WHY.) I don't believe I belong in puff as the individuals in there come off as being a bit more innocent, not to be confused with naïve, and that just isn't me.
