If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? I would change ignorance, because ignorance is not bliss, it's just the lack of self-motivation to get up off your ass and learn something. Ignorance, in my opinion, is the world's curse. Ignorance leads to intolerance, which then leads to hate, and hate leads to an entire universe of trouble. It's probably one of the reasons why this world is so screwed up in the first place. I don't understand how people can go through their lives and be ignorant about their culture/country/politics etc. It saddens me to know that a lot of people don't like to learn new things. I love to learn all I can, so that when I talk to people I don't sound like an imbecile. If there's one thing I hope to achieve, it's that I'll never be accused of ignorance.
What makes a person respectable? To me, what makes a person respectable is fighting for what they believe in, for the common good of all mankind. Also, what makes a person respectable is how they treat other people around them. It's my opinion that you can learn a lot about a person by the way they treat their friends and family. If they are good/loyal to their friends/family and always back them up, then they have my utmost respect. If not, then I just don't see how I could respect them.
What do you look for in a friend? A good sense of humor, or one that matches my somewhat dry laugh-at-the-wrong-times humor. If I can't have fun and laugh with my friends, then that would be a very uncomfortable relationship indeed. I like to know that if I were in trouble or needed help, my friends would be there for me. I'm loyal to my friends and I expect the same in return. I like my friends to be relaxed and down to earth. They need to not be high-strung, b/c I'm generally an easy-going person and if a person were to be over dramatic and angsty all the time, I would get very annoyed. I like it when I can just chill with my friends and not have to pretend to be someone I'm not.
What are your hobbies? I love to read. Love it. Ever since I learned how when I was a kid, I've never been without a book. I love to sing. I think I'm actually pretty good too. I was in choir from 8th grade to 11th. Wish I had decided to continue singing in college. But considering how long it's been since I've been in an organized choir, I can still carry a tune (although I can't read music anymore) and that's one of the key elements. I love to write fanfic. I haven't written anything in a while, since I have too much school work to do, but when I get a plot bunny I make sure to jot it down so that can start it sometime in the future. I love to draw. I should, considering I'm an animation major. Unfortunately, I haven't opened my sketchbook to draw for fun in quite some time. Also, and I don't know if this counts as a hobby per se, but I love going to renaissance faires with my friends and dressing in full garb. I admit it, I'm a rennie. But we really are a fun lot.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? Probably not. I know that probably makes me a bad person, but I just don't have the time or money to give to charity.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? To be successful in my career. I want to be excellent at animation and create awesome movies or special effect for movies. With success come riches and I also want to be rich. I don't want to live my life with a mediocre job that I hate, like my dad. I want to be better than that and to do that, I need to be successful in what I choose to do for a living.
Who is your role model? I don't really have a role model. I don't think I've ever really looked up to anyone. There isn't one person that I can think of, at the moment, that makes me want to strive to be like them.
What trait most annoys you about other people? It annoys me when I'm around people and we're talking, and when I want to say something, they don't listen. Being ignored is not the most fun thing in world, in fact, it sucks. I try to listen to people when they talk to me, is it too much to ask to want the same in return. Also, when people spit. It just grosses me out to no end.
What do you want to do for a living? As I said before, I want to be an animation artist and create animated movies, or do special effects for movies. That is just the coolest thing in the world, to be involved in pop culture and to one day have an impact on pop culture.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? I would try to defend them to the best of my ability, if I were fighting a person. If it were an animal/beast I would try to distract it or throw a rock at it, or do something so that my friend and I could get away safely. There is no shame in running if it's life or death. I would rather run away from the animal than die trying to fight it. That doesn't mean I'm a coward though. If it came down to it and it meant killing the animal or beast that was hurting my friend, I would do it in a heartbeat.
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? No.
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? My sense of humor. I love to laugh even if it is at inappropriate times. I'm honest, b/c in my book honesty is the best policy. I'm a nice girl, I don't intentionally hurt others, even if sometimes I do. I have pretty green eyes. I guess that could be considered a good quality. And I don't smoke. Tried it once and didn't like the taste of it.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? I'm a bit of a cynic, but let's face it, there is a lot in this world to be cynical about. I'm guarded when it comes to my feelings, in that, I don't want to get hurt. I have a weakness for chocolate, I can't resist a good piece of dark chocolate. I'm not good at saving my money, even though I honestly try. Feeling glib satisfaction in knowing that I'm doing better than someone at something. Sometimes feeling like I want to be mean for no apparent reason (even though I never act on it).
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: Fighting for what's right. Standing up for what you believe in and for your friends. Strength of will.
Loyalty: Being there for people through thick and thin. Never giving up on something or someone.
Intelligence: The result of gaining as much knowledge and information as you can. There is a reason they say "knowledge is power". Also, having common sense.
Ambition: Knowing what you want and shooting for it, even if you have to step on a few people in the process.
