EDITED

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? I would get rid of all the fake people in the world. People who change their views soley on what everyone else is doing. "Do you hate Bush because of the wrong things he has done during his presidency?" "No, I hate Bush cause Green Day told me to" That basically sums that up. I believe people need to think for themselves, especially in today's society, where for the first time we are encouraged to think, not forced to conform to a religion or a king.
What makes a person respectable? Their compassion and determination in any aspect of life. People who work relentlessly to meet their goals. There are too few people in this world, and to be cliche: its always easier to give up, than to keep on trucking.
What do you look for in a friend? Someone who enjoys long walks on the beach, and holding hands. Haha, no. I make friends with a lot of people, just someone who can laugh and isn't uptight about things. Like my best friends are just people I love to be around. Someone you can sit there for 5 hours and not get bored.
What are your hobbies? I suppose I don't have many, I'm really into art. I go to a art highschool, and sometimes I feel like such a sham cause I'm very insecure about my work. But art owns my life, and the only thing that I hold higher than art is music. I listen to music all the time. It's how I wake up and how I go to sleep. It governs me.
Have or would you give time and money to a charity? Yes. Actually I was in a program at school that required community service. I loathed it. But then I just did volunteer work, when its not forced anymore. I enjoyed it, I volunteered at the new HP book at B&N. We dressed up, and had a blast painting faces of little children.
What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish? I really want to be able to sing, in the musical Rent, but that will never happen. Which is why I'm an art major, not theatre. But I really would like to become a tattoo artist. My friends and I had joked about it for the longest time, and then eventually were like "why not?" So right now, it's my dream job. No one that knows me can see me in a actual job like setting. So just working along side my friends, and having fun...sounds perfect.
Who is your role model? My friend Chloe, she's really strong and perservering. She has been through so much, her mom died when she was young, and she basically learned how to be self sufficient at age 9. I'm barely that at 16. She works so hard to do the things she wants, whether buying a new camera or becoming a photo journalist. She is by far the most responsible out of all my friends.
What trait most annoys you about other people? People who let others think for them. I am very steadfast on my ideals, and rarely change for anyone. I can be called stubborn, but at least I'm not fake. I'd rather start 500000000000000 arguements, rather than simply backing down in front of someone.
What do you want to do for a living? I want to be a tatoo artist, as I said before. Basically, it'll encompass a lot of my favorite things. Art because I would be drawing on a daily basis. Music because music scenes have normally flown with tatoo artistry. And my friend, cause we're starting a shop together.
If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do? Try my best to defend them, or to get help. As cheezy as the makes me sound. I mean, would anyone leave their friend in peril? (Or if it was something not threatening, laugh at them.)
Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason? Yes. I believe if probable cause arises, it would be OK to use one. Like in the question above, I would use it in the defense of a friend. Friends mean everything to them, even a life sentence in Azkaban
What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities? My steadfast mentality on my beliefs, it keeps me from backing down or cracking under other people's judgements on me. I can be a hard worker when the time calls for it, like if a friend asks me to do something, it'll get done very quickly. I would do nearly anything for my friends, it makes me trustworthy and I tend to make a lot of friends. I can make people smile, I hate seeing people sad or depressed. So I do anything to make them happy. I'm really creative, which goes along with the art thing.
What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities? My stubborness, I argue a lot with people and as a result I get pissed, or the other person gets pissed. I tend to get attached to people really fast, which causes depression later on. I get discouraged easily, I can crack under pressure and give up altogether. That leads to a lot of procrastination. I'm paranoid, I always think people hate me. I tend to be rash, this tends to piss even more people off. I don't think before I do, I like winging things.
Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: standing up for what you believe in, no matter what
Loyalty: staying by someone, or staying with a cause regardless of hardships or any obstacles
Intelligence: the ability to apply knowledge to situations
Ambition: continuing to build, no matter how many times you get torn down

Name: David (Noodl)
Age: 15 (16 in December)
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you? Ravenclaw, even though I'm smart and all, I'm not much of a scholar. My friend always gets Ravenclaw, and I suppose its cause she is really devoted to schoolwork and such. And that just isn't me. Or maybe my ideals of Ravenclaw are askew.(This question is optional for those who feel they just DO NOT fit in a house. Please explain WHY.)
Where did you find out about us? My friend Alina, who is also applying today.
