Bwahahaha, I did some edits (grammatical and rewording since some things really didn't get a point across) while this was in queue, so here it actually is, reworded and reedited. D:

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
This question always gets me. There are a lot of things that need to be changed in the world; it's hard to choose just one, but if I did have to choose, it would be to eliminate poverty in and around the world. Fixing any financial and physical issues for the poor and distraught would, for the most part, eliminate casual street crime and just leave us the true criminals who are there to do nothing but no good as our targets to lock up forever, not those who needed to steal to pay for his mother's much-needed kidney transplant.

What makes a person respectable?
Wisdom and a good sense of judgment is the key. I cannot make it any simpler than that. Wisdom is a quality that I look for in anyone. Stupid risk taking is often the cause of most people's demise. The wise see to it that they take their time and make the right choice in any situation.

What do you look for in a friend?
Above anything else, I look for someone who appreciates a good time and can laugh at mostly any joke that I find funny. I like people who appreciate me for who I am, not what I can do. Under a good sense of humor, I look for someone who is intelligent. You need people with a broad range of knowledge to stand by your side to inform you and expand your horizons beyond where your area of expertise is.

What are your hobbies?
I am a music junkie. Whenever I'm doing anything, I usually have music nearby. I played in the school band up until recently. Aside from my compassion for music, I enjoy playing video games that are there for a quick and easy brain tease, like puzzle games, or a game that is zany and out-of-this-world, like Katamari Damacy. I also enjoy flashy, original games and RPGs with stories that don't bore me. A good musical game is always good, too. I like the element of figuring out what to do. I'm a very picky reader, but when I do find a book I can enjoy, like the recent Half-Blood Prince, I will sit there for hours on end reading on and on to figure out what happens next.

Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
If ever I hit massive wealth, I would be a philanthropist. I believe that everyone is entitled to live a life filled with fun and no dull moments; after all, life is short. Even as my middle-class self, I still enjoy the feeling of donating to a worthy cause. It doesn't matter if they're helping animals or people; I still want to contribute in any way possible.

What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
I want to make it through school with top-notch, or nearly top-notch, grades and land a job that I can enjoy and, with hope, earn a lump sum of money each week. I'm considering something in the science, health, or technology fields. It may even be a hybrid of all three.

Who is your role model?
My role model is...err...Okay, I don't think I have a role model. I don't think you should aim to be as high as someone. You're always comparing them to you, positively and negatively. You may even go to the extent that you want to be exactly like them. I look up to many people, but calling them each a "role model" is pushing it.

What trait most annoys you about other people?
I loathe ignorant people. If they cannot bother to learn some French before going to France, I think they're completely rude and insulting. You should do research before doing what you want to do, or else you could end up in serious danger or an embarrassing situation.

What do you want to do for a living?
I want to be an optometrist, but that may change at a later date. It's a job that's always in-demand. You get to work with people and fix their problems, which is a rewarding feeling. If you become a self-guided optometrist, you also feel successful running your own clinic and being your own boss.

If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
I would help if the odds were good. If I was unarmed and the beast was ferocious, I would, with deep regret, probably run away. If they were under attack by a, though very unlikely, flobberworm, then, yes, I would save them. I'm not the bravest person out there, but I do have a feeling that risks are a sometimes necessary. They're scary to do but sometimes the results can be worth it. However, no one should take too many risks.

Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
The punishments involved are too harsh. Life in Azkaban isn't worth endangering or ending someone else's life. Besides, I couldn't end anyone's life unless they definitely deserved it for a crime of a horrific level (i.e. genocide) or if my live was in immediate danger and I had no other option. I believe that justice in law is fairer than death on the spot. We're entitled to a life. Killing someone ruins other people's lives as well. If I were forced to do one, with the punishment of not doing so as death and torture, I would do it, but I would be traumatized for the rest of my life. Wait, but I would go to Azkaban then. Maybe I wouldn't. I don't know. It's one of those things where you wouldn't want to commit suicide but you wouldn't want to be killed by someone else. In short, definitely not, if I never came in contact with any dark wizards.

What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
(Not in order of importance. You can't place one in front of the other.)
Yearning to learn: When I learn something new, I think beyond what I was just taught and even do research on interesting topics. This allows me to extend my horizons and learn some new and interesting things that I can share with anyone.

Intellect: I love to learn. I know that I'm apart from my schoolmates, but I love to learn new things and extend my knowledge on things I already know. It's fun to think and attempt to take in whatever you can. Most stuff anyone learns applies, in one way or another, later in life.

Open-heartedness: I don't believe that you should take a hostile approach towards anyone when you don't know them personally. It doesn't matter what aspect you don't like; just give them a chance. That's my philosophy, and that's why I'm accepting.

Sturdiness: When you question my opinions or beliefs, I will fight back and not accept whatever you spew out at me. People have tried to convince me that x is true, but I believe y is true. I never begin to believe x until I have an epiphany.

Intuitiveness: I can tell when something will not go right or vice-versa. Certain things in a room give off a vibe. If I don't like the vibe of the place, I suggest leaving or I just leave. This allows you to not get involved in sticky situations.

What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
(Not in order of importance. You can't place one in front of the other.)
Procrastination: I'll get to this later.

Uncreative: Other than music, I have no talents in the realm of the arts. I cannot write fiction, I cannot draw, and I cannot paint. I cannot do anything involving the arts. I'm probably the worst artist in the world.

Tricky: I enjoy lying for a good laugh a little too much. I am honest for the most part, but I do enjoy playing jokes on people every now and then, but only if the jokes are harmless. Pranks can destroy relationships with family and friends, but they're oh so much fun. *_*

Impatient: I seem to think things should just come my way and put me in priority. However, that's not how the world goes. I'm working towards getting rid of this trait, but I know that it will always stick with me.

Cowardice: I am afraid to try new things. I'm afraid of some little things (among these are spiders and heights). I should really work more towards conquering my fears), but that takes weeks of work, and I don't feel like I have the time. Don't expect me to stand up to any powerful wizards soon.

Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: The ability to stand up against someone or something. This may also be just taking a risk to try something new.

Loyalty: The ability to stay faithful to anyone and follow his or her orders, no matter how difficult they may be.

Intelligence: The ability to use logic and reasoning within your range to solve problems and ponder new and better ways to do things.

Ambition: How much you want to do something or get it done.

Name: Chris
Age: 15

What house do you think DOESN'T fit you?
I'm an all-around kind of guy, but I don't think Gryffindor fits me. They are a house of courage, a trait that I lack, and I could, in my own opinion, never fit in with them.
