You describe yourself as responsible, practical, and ethical. I saw a lot of balance in this application as well. You want to go to an era where instead of having electricity you work with your hands, showing that you are "unafraid of toil" as well. Hufflepuff.
Slytherpuff. You're app's very matter-of-fact, very precise. Your practicality and your answer to the question on immortality convinced me of Hufflepuff.
I see Hufflepuff here, but it's more your cynical, worldly, Zacharais Smithish, take-everything-with-a-pinch-of-salt-and-show-me-the-receipts sort of Hufflepuff. I see the Slytherin here, but I don't sense the drive or the ambitions.
Your sense of humor reminds me a bit of the Weasley twins...but at the same time you have lots of snake traits. I think you'd be happier in the dungeons, so Slytherin
I have to admit that I'm totally flabbergasted by the sheer number of Slytherin votes you've gotten so far. Comments like, "Admittedly, I’m not a people person," and, "You can keep your money, power, and glory and I will keep my standards and family close," tell me beyond a shadow of a doubt that you do not have the heart of a snake. What you do have, though, is a certain air about you. A definite manner of speaking that is very earnest and to the point. And while you might not be the most canon Ravenclaw that I've ever seen, I think this is where you belong. You've imaginative, speculative, and a touch cynical. You approached this application from a very analytical standpoint and allowed us not only to see your answers, but your entire thought process. I can't think of anywhere you belong more than here in Ravenclaw.
Wow, this was a tough sort. I think I'll have to go with Slytherin! I wanted to sort you into Gryffindor because you're laid back, a procrastinator, are ethical and have a good moral center, are silly and playful and have a good sense of humor, but I think your Slytherin traits are more prominent. You're somewhat of a loner, you would want to bring Harry into the Forbidden Forest because you'd have a story to tell/somewhat brag about later, you're detail oriented, responsible, a bit ambitious, analytical and hard-working. Your definition of "Ambition" didn't scream Slytherin to me but being unsympathetic especially screams 'no' to Gryffindor and Hufflepuff since I tend to think they are two extremely sympathetic houses. Overall, this was an extremely hard sort!
I see a lot of Slytherin in this app with a side of Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. What ended up swaying me to Slytherin was your practicality and the fact that you consider yourself unsympathetic; those were actually two of the traits that got me into Slytherin, so...yes. Also, you're "looking for someone who makes me feel better after a conversation, someone I could trust when I needed help," so in other words, looking for someone who would help you in some way, another Slytherin-y trait. And the bit about social standing re: the Forbidden Forest also supported Slytherin.
