Need sorting

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
  • About the world....
As stated in Miss Congeniality... "And World Peace".

Aside from these stupid wars... and terrorists I wouldn't
change anything. Take all the terrorists.. all the Sadam's
of the world and put them all on mars or some planet
armed with a spork. It would be easy enough to just
kill them, but let them sort themselves out... oh and
place cameras on them so we can watch and bet.

    Locally though:
Lets work on the hunger/homeless issues at home.
I know other countries are starving too, but look at US citizens
out on the streets begging for money and food. I will never
support an outreach program for another country when our
    very own are starving.

    What makes a person respectable?
  • Some will say money.. or status.. standing. But I believe when
someone tries their hardest for what they believe in, that makes them
    respectable.

What do you look for in a friend?
  • Friends are few and far between. A friend to me is someone whom
I let inside the walls. Someone who seems the real me, not the
fabricated person that everyone else sees. To be this person
you have to earn my trust and have the same (dark) sense of humor.
I would rather go it alone then with someone who is not a true friend.

    What are your hobbies?
  • Some of my hobbies are:
cooking, might as well put that degree to use
reading, though mostly fantasy with some fiction
movies, love watching either at home or at the theatre
gaming, usually doing this while watching said movies above
    shooting, both photography and firearms:>
geo-caching, my husband, the gps and the woods

Have or would you give time and money to a charity?
  • I do not give money to charities, I don't always trust that the
money is going to those who truly need it. I have stopped and
given homeless people food, stray cats food and will donate food
to the food banks and animal shelters. I find these go directly to
    the people/cats. I did make a 'donation' when I adopted a cat
from a shelter, but that was to cover his healthcare.

What is the one thing you would most like to accomplish?
  • Hmm... living till I'm 50? I'm accomplished what I feel I have needed
to. Now I'm just sitting back, working and enjoying my time with the
husband. Though I want to travel, though that really isn't
an accomplishment. One does not need to have goals to be
complete. I have done my thing, let others have the spotlight,
I'll be the one behind the curtain.

    Who is your role model?
  • Peter Gabriel. The man is incredible. Look at all he has done, all he
supports. And then look past all that at the man himself. He is not
one of those bigheaded stars. He is a real person who will make time
for people. His music tells a lot about him and his life. Listen to the
rhythm of the music, listen to what the words are saying.

What trait most annoys you about other people?
  • Stupidity. Followers. People who can't drive.
Stupidity and followers go hand in hand almost. I hate those
"yes" people who are just following their "leader". Use your
brain! I know you have one. Everyone does. I'm not a follower.
Though I use to be, but no more! And neither should you.
  • I hate other drivers. We should all be in rubber cars so that
when I see one of these idiots who is talking on the cell phone
(not using hands free) drinking a cup of coffee and yelling at her
kids I can ram her. Make her spill her coffee, phone flies out the
window and junior there starts crying. Of course that won't
happen, so I'll settle with them getting in a car wreck and having
them pull themselves out of the driving pool.

What do you want to do for a living?
  • I want to do nothing. I want to win the lottery and never had to work again.
Never have to worry about making ends meet. Just be able to sit back, relax and
take in the world. Until then though... I'll stick with computers and desktop
with a little food making on the side.

If your friend was attacked (by a person, animal, or (in the magic world) beast), what would you do?
Well it would depend. Is this a true friend or a sudo friend?
  • If it were a true friend I wouldn't think twice about killing it.
(It being the person/animal/beast) A quick adava kedavra (or a
quick pulling of a trigger) would be all it would take.
  • Now it if were a sudo-friend, someone whom is a friend, but not a
close friend, I would have to think about it. Will I get hurt in jumping
in. Is this friend worth it? Will this friend be able to walk away? Or
will they die? Should I just torture the the attacker with a
Furnunculus, Locomotor Mortis then followed with a Cruciatus
(or a shot in the knee caps) or should I go all out and kill them.

Would you ever use an Unforgivable Curse for any reason?
  • Yes, if a true friends life depended on it. Or my own.

What do you think are your top five abilities or qualities?
  • I'm not afraid to speak what is on my mind.
  • Observant. I like to sit back and take it all in.
  • Got great aim. (Weither it be a firearm, wand, kick, camera... )
  • Loyal to what I believe in. Stand never wavering. Though
not necessarily to a person or group. Mostly to my closest
    of friends and my beliefs.
  • My ability to read people.

What do you think are your top five weaknesses or worst qualities?
  • I'm not afraid to speak what is on my mind. (this is a double edge sword)
  • Lose track of time. I get so involved sometimes the day just goes by.
  • I'm an organized slob. My apartment is a mess, stacks here and
there. But I know where everything is. I'm working on this though.
  • I give too many chances. IE a friend I had. A good friend
at that, he burnt me not once.. not twice.. but over 10
times. He owes me a lot. He is not a friend anymore.
  • Temper. I can lose it rather easily. Have you seen it?

Define in your own words the following key traits:
Courage: Someone who will stand up for or up to what they believe
in. Regardless of what the outcome.
Loyalty: Someone who is completely for a person, place or thing. It is
only thing they believe in. Something they would rather die
    for then deceive it.
Intelligence: Knowing when to speak, when to be seen and when
to just be a fly on the wall absorbing all then retaining
it all for later. Faulting ones intelligence only makes them
    look like an idiot.
Ambition: Drive. To see the light at the end of the tunnel and get
there by all means possible with nothing stopping you
    along the way.

Name: Col. Brandon, though you can call me Cindi
Age: Old. Though by wizards standards rather young. ;)
What house do you think DOESN'T fit you?
  • I really don't belong in Hufflepuff. I am loyal, but to what I believe in.
I can be friendly, but it takes time. I would rather sit back in the corner
watching, learning and come out only when I'm assured I can benefit.

Where did you find out about us?
  • Was snooping around other HP communities and saw this one.
