DO NOT USE A STOCK RESUME! My sweetie does all the hiring for her work and she actually tosses resumes that are not tailored to the job -- and that's normal!

I think it's a nifty idea to have a website with a resume on it. It makes you look like a VIP, and people who are recruiting that you've never heard of might find you that way. That said, as annoying as this is, if you're submitting a resume, you should tailor it to the position. I always include not only an objective such as "job: teacher" but "this position will allow me to use my pedagogical skills/work experience to foster a love of learning." You could probably write something equally intense about graphic design. I like answering this question because I am really good at getting jobs, not as good at retaining them.

Awww lol I'm probably the opposite. I'm so nervous and clueless about the entire process of applying and interviewing and stuff.
