I think that would make the show 1000 times more worthwhile. Like the song by 311, it would be a Beautiful Disaster. Imagine capturing something so historical, so tragic without meaning to. Calm, tranquil landscape can be done forever after. It not difficult. Something so timeless and horrible and real as 9/11, being captured into art, would just be macabre, unbelievable, inspiring fear and an outpouring of the heart. Watching that would probably instill more emotion than all of Da Vinchi could ever cause. Don't be disgusted with yourself; first reactions are forgivable because they go unprocessed, as you said. I bet the artist is probably more glad than ever he set up his work when he did. It captured a moment in history unlike anything else.
Yeah man. It's sort of a lucky coincidence that it happened to be right then that he had the piece set up. I was reading an article that said something along the lines of him intending to capture history with a little h and instead he got History. Which pretty much sums it up well. The guy said that if he ever shows the piece again, he won't use the archived footage and he'll stick to live feeds.
