LJ seems to have changed their layout. Woah.

Sounds like a labor-intensive but rewarding endeavor. Asheville and the surrounding environs are a great area, despite the tourists and hipsters. I know several people who live around there who probably have comparable lifestyles to your own, so if there's anything specific you're looking for or want to know I can make some inquiries.

I am so jealous! We went to Asheville a couple of years ago in the middle of August, and it was like 85. Here, on the same days, it was 100-101. It's a beautiful town, and I can't wait to go back!

There's a cool little restaurant in downtown Asheville, it is about two blocks away from the tallest building downtown (by far) and it's called Over easy. They serve amazing food, and everything is local. the walls are covered in work done by a local artist. Other local artists have their work displayed in stalls at the old woolworths, which is down the street from the public library. The town itself is amazing, but if you want something super swanky to do, Biltmore has like 9 gardens, and you could spend days walking through that place!

I hope you guys have fun!

I loved Asheville last time I went to visit there for ... a weekend, I think.

Sounds like a lot of new beginnings -- near the start of winter, no less!
