So, I'm riding shotgun with my daughter this morning, as she practices her driving, and she asks me which way I want us to go, in order to get to the bank.

"Once we're up at Sheridan Drive, we need to go west," I reply, at which point she says,

drbear always, always, always laughs at my sense of direction, because I literally have none. I have no clue which is north, south, east or west. It's sad really...so cliche, but so true in my case...*grin*

I think it might be from being outside so much, but I always know where I am relative to the points of the compass, even indoors. When I refer to this in conversation with others, if they give me odd looks I think, what's the matter with them? Then again, I don't carry a purse, have never waxed anything except a candle, paint my nails colors like royal blue and lime green. I don't care much for convention.

I'm not big on convention either. I try to go my own way....which, when it comes to points on the compass, is usually wrong....*grin*
