Sorry to hear about Erin, but I'm glad she survived, and I hope she recovers as much as possible from this.

Lovely hat. :)

And you are now the Hat Knitter for Everybody. I more or less know the feeling - I used to be the Baby Clothes Knitter for Everybody. :)

Re: Erin, the first time they confirmed she was in fact, the person in the wreck, they said she was okay. I found that hard to believe, from what I'd seen of her car right after, and impossible to believe after I'd seen how it looked when they hauled it away. I think the people in the imaging office didn't want to upset me, which is sweet, but I'm no fool.
Re: knitting, I hadn't done much in years, but then when I burned my hands in Dec. of 09, I started again as a means of keeping busy while I was home on disability and also to keep my fingers flexible while they healed. Good all the way around.

Yikes! That poor girl. That might interrupt her fertility if she wants to have kids in the future.

Love the hat!

Thank you for the compliment, and I feeeeel for Erin. She is young, she will heal, however, she will most likely experience issues from this incident in the future.
