Go Down, Moses by William Faulkner

I just finished reading Go Down, Moses, by William Faulkner. It was originally published as short stories but Faulkner later declared it a novel. The stories are intertwined & build on each other. A mosaic novel, I think it's called.

I read 'As I Lay Dying' a couple of months ago. I'm still not sure how I feel about it.

I haven't read that one. What sort of "not sure" are you?

Wikipedia says it's another of his stream of consciousness works. I definitely coped better with stream of consciousness writing when I was younger. I don't know if I could re-read The Sound and the Fury now.

I've read Sanctuary. It's a pulp fiction quickie, which I wasn't expecting. And just when I thought I had settled into that, whee, here's a rather brutal assault scene.
