Somehow this marketing ploy leaves me uninspired. There's something a little too self-important in their tone, even if I do think they're wise to be so realistic about what's available.

LOL. The North Dakota site reminds me a little of informational websites for traditional Wiccan/Witchcraft covens (as opposed to the more eclectic ones.) The warning is to weed out folks who really aren't suited. I appreciate the honesty. It most likely reflects the attitudes/personalities of the people of the region, as well.

I agree.. while I applaud the lifestyle and community they're valuing and I was initially amused at their approach - it quickly got to be a little much. I don't think quite so many assumptions or down-the-nose references need to be made to make the point, and to appeal to the crowd they're after.
