To Octavia Butler fans

Do you think any of her novels could ever be adapted to the big screen, and if so, which ones? I'm thinking Kindred probably could, but likely not any others, which I suspect (even under skilled hands) would suck and make me very sad. What do you think?

I didn't like them all that much. At the very least, I found her novels vastly more interesting. But if you want to comment about short stories, feel free :)

I don't actually remember them all that well, but I feel like most of her novels wouldn't deal well with the kind of selective cropping that has to happen to make a screenplay from a novel. I would love to see the TV (mini?)series based on Xenogenesis, but I can't see it happening anytime soon.
