I love it! The interaction between Kavanagh and Lorne was just perfect! And of course your Kavanagh is always the bestest in the world! And McKay! I thought McKay was going to blow a gasket and instead he geeked like a fangirl! So much fun! Wee! :D

The only thing that could have made me love it more if it had been Parrish that Lorne wanted to date but that doesn't even matter.

Thank you!

Until I got to that point, I thought McKay was going to freak out. And then he decided to have basically modeled his entire life on the books. :)

Originally, it was Parrish. But right before I started writing the date, I read this really sad fic that was about how Chuck had no friends because everybody just basically always assumes he'll be there. And then my poor little heart demanded he be the one Lorne liked.

I actually went back-and-forth for a bit, but I decided it worked better since Lorne called Chuck to find out where Kav lived. I decided it was one of those "Yay! Now I have an excuse to talk to him! Squee!" moments.

I'm glad you decided to go with the fangirl-geek out instead of the pissed off freak-out.

*sigh* I suppose that I can forgive you for not having Lorne like Parrish since you had a good reason. And you're right, there's not enough Chuck lovin' out there!

damn woman. You killed three prompts with that. *claps* That was both hilarious and wonderful.

I'm kinda sad there wasn't more fics done for the challenge. I have been kinda overlooking the list and I might do a couple more from it. Just for fun.

I'm surprised it ended up as cohesive as it did. McKay decided by himself that he liked the book series. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah. I'm going to hope that more people do something since I expanded the deadline, but I think it's an idle hope. We never really had many people and now people are dropping off because they're canceling SGA.

I'm actually about halfway through a fic about Kav being a secret party planner. It wasn't very good so I abandoned it for this, but I may finish it now just so we have more stuff.

Sad to say, you're probably right about fandom. When SGA ends it'll get worse. I don't know what I'll do cause I don't really write for any other show. hmm. I know I have a few more fics in me that need to come out so I'll be able to contribute for a while yet.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
SO MUCH LOVE for this fic *g*
I just... I'm speechless. There's too much to pick out the bets bits. But I'll try anyway :)
This just made me so happy -
Music blared as Lorne stared at the door. "Chuck, are you sure this is the right door?" he asked via headset ( ... )

Three prompts in one fic? That's amazing and it's an awesome fic too. I love everyone's panicked reactions to finding out about the Nobel Prize and their attempts to hide it from Rodney. And then the scene where he does find out and confess his love of the books was hilarious.

And Chuck/Lorne was incredibly cute. Poor Chuck. Everyone overlooks him. I loved his line about how Kav doesn't have friends just people he hates less. And Kav as matchmaker was so analytical and determined that it made me wonder if he'd done that sort of thing before. Dr. Kavanagh, Love Doctor. Spectacular:)

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I set out to do a completely different prompt, but then this hopped up and demanded to be written.

There is a serious lack of Chuck love.

Hee. My idea was that Kavanagh had hooked people up before. In the book. That's why McKay kept referencing the relationships, but the fun bit about being vague is that Yenta!Kav is also correct. :)

Well, if you've ever seen Pterodactyl, I think that may answer your question...

Kusanagi is awesome. Though, we're still unsure if Miko and Kusanagi are the same people.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!
