My favourite thing about Martha's outfit is that episode after episode, her hair remains perfect. Not one flyaway. What the hell kind of product does she use!?
I know, right? And I really liked it at first, but then SHE JUST COULDN'T CHANGE CLOTHES.
And now that she hasn't taken any stuff with her at the end of "The Lazarus Experiment," I'm kind of wondering how much longer we're going to have to deal with these everlasting outfits.
I ADORE you for getting Rose's character. ADORE you. I loved the spine on that woman, too. :P The thing is, though, if they just wrote Martha a little more consistently and gave her a more interesting backstory, I think she could be very awesome. But maybe I should be happy that not everybody can be Rose. I don't think I'm making sense anymore.
I'm sure the writers were trying to go for them being coordinates, which is great, but it just doesn't make any sense. The whole point is that you can use words instead of numbers, and then having to use numbers in the spell seems to go right through that whole point and thus ruin the Doctor's grand realization. Whatever, it was just ridiculous screenwriting and faux-science, and all they'd have to do is just try a little bit harder and these problems would go away.
i still kind of want tennant to just snap and go all eccleston on martha's ass. because, honestly, poor girl would end up crying in a corner if nine so much as looked at her.
