Fantastic and hilarious :D I'd definitely sign up for more chapters. The characters' voices were done really well, I immediately knew who was speaking.

I like this story a lot; very believable reaction from Kara, perfect voices for the Firefly characters (and that's got to be so hard to do; I love Firefly but I'd be terrified to write it) , and I can't wait to find out what happens next. One minor thing: since this is a Kara POV story, it threw me off a little bit when she sounded like a Firefly character. Like here: "You are trying my patience, little man," says Kara, flopping back in the gurney. "And I ain't drinkin' whatever's in that cup." I don't think we've ever heard Kara say "ain't" on the show, so it seemed a little off. And when she didn't like the "sheen" of the look between Mal and Simon? That's just a minor thing though.

I particularly love the way you write Simon and Mal. :D
