I am super glad that you think so much of this. Because I worked really hard on it, and yet I really HAD NO IDEA if it was crap or what. I got so close to it I couldn't see it anymore (that makes no sense but I am trusting you will understand what I mean :P ). And I so wanted it to be good. Really, I did. Do. Yeah.

This is one of the things I wish "The Woman King" had done better

YESSSSS if you ask me "The Woman King" could have been a bit more nuanced. It felt like it was written by someone who did not really understand Helo and Athena's journey/characters ... WHICH IS WEIRD BECAUSE I JUST LOOKED IT UP AND THE SAME GUY WROTE "SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION." Clearly I suck at critique. Anyway. I come from a place of rewatching "The Woman King" probably more than it deserves to be rewatched, and YOU KNOW WHY.

And on the religious note, YES, I WONDER THAT TOO! Basically the only comment we get from him is that "almost makes you believe in the Cylon God - almost" thing, and since he swears like ( ... )
