Holy free holys Batman. Seriously, I can't even believe that I was the first to comment. That never happens! I am so excited that Steve Buscemi guy is going to be a part of this story. Amazing! And honestly, the kissing was hot! And I love how you always incorporate small details like footsteps crunching in the snow. I seriously got shivers imagining it and we're in the middle of a heatwave.

Anyway, great job. You're doing awesome and I hope for her own sanity and peace of mind that missdeviant's real life issues become easier. Thanks for the update!

Hee! Thank you so much! The Steve Buscemi guy is missdeviant's creation, though I did come up with the name. It's weird writing winter scenes when it's so hot outside. And, really, at this point I have no qualms about throwing in as much gratuitous making out as I can. ;)

I love this chapter! I'm still a little freaked out by Katie and have this weird vision of her in a nightgown clawing at the walls in my head and I blame you completely.

I'm glad that Kristen got the courage to ask Jason questions and he answered them honestly, but I really loved them joking over coffee. I think I like them best care-free. Although if high-intensity action situations always bring lines like this: "Hello, totally random, out of the blue makeout sessions! she thinks as his tongue does that thing he’s really good at. Pleased to make your acquaintance!"

I'm not complaining! :D Thanks for an awesome update!

P.S. Re: the loaded question all I can say is "ow, fine, take my damn ice cream"

Great chapter! You are doing a great job of building the intensity, both in the KB/JFDoh relationship and in the plot arc. Good stuff.

Thank you! That means a lot. This is definitely the plottiest thing I've ever written, and the longest, and without missdeviant it would be nothing. Clearly it's not the Great American Novel, but I'm having fun with the little universe we created and actually sustaining what is essentially an original fiction story. :)
