To serve as a reminder to me...and perhaps to encourage someone else who may read this.
It's been going through my head all day....Amy C's writings have that gift of being so rich and imparting so much.....such fruit from a truly yielded life.

Yes, thank you! I love reading Amy Carmichael's quotes and everything. I read a biography about her once, she's such an amazing person!

I am friends with KariW and I noticed you on hers and could not help but friend you as you are a fan of Amy Carmichael's! Have you read 'A Chance to Die' by Elisabeth Elliot? I love that book.What works of Amy Carmichael's have you read? I have only read 'If' but I want to read more of her works.

I hope you don't mind me friending you but we have a lot in common and I always love meeting new people on here!

Hi,nice to meet you.Had a look at your lj and yeah we do have alot in common. Amy Carmichael's writings are constantly a blessing to me...I've not yet read 'A chance to die', but I intend to.
I'd recommend her poetry in Mountain Breezes.Also, Gold by Moonlight, Candles in the Dark, Thou givest they Gather, Amma....the list could go on.
