New beginnings

I had an interview for a medical SHO job (my dream job), and I was offered it...and I accepted! I really feel that God was in control (as He always is), esp with the fact that I was not at all stressed beforehand in the days leading up to it. I was due to have another interview for another job on friday, but I'm going to have to cancel that ( Read more... )

1) There's a Perth in Scotland, right? You're not talking about Western Australia? Oh yeah, I remember taking a train through it now. Whew! Actually, you might be closer to me in Western Australia.

2) We don't seem to have Polos here. Other than the shirts.

3) When it's meant to be, it's meant to be! Congratulations--I am so happy for you!

Happy for your new opportunity ! I did a bit of a 'double take' when I read 'Perth' - because that's the capital city of one of our States in Oz.
I note though, that in your Perth you'll be quite near- as the peregrines fly - the place of our family's pioneering ancestors who came out here from near Loch Leven(Kinrossshire) in 1822.
What does the job of SHO entail? Sounds v. important!

On your days off, you could visit here for me.......... http://www.perthshire.co.uk/index.asp?pg=331

Thanks Nan.Being an SHO is basically being a senior...more responsibility clinically and etc, which has its stressful moments, esp in general medicine.
As for Loch Leven, I'll hope to pay it a visit too :-)
