I am embarrassed at how long it took me in the end to finish this review. It wasn't because I didn't enjoy the book! I read it right away, but I kept experimenting with different e-book formats, because I wanted to get the hyperlinks working as they were supposed to. Yes, some of their behavior in my own research into horses is definitely of the predatory variety. This includes the dominance thing, the nipping of other horses. I played on that one for a little something I wrote some time back. That book would be a good resource for me. Thanks!

Lol! Yes, they definitely can be aggressive with each other, and sometimes other animals. But mostly they tend to regard anything unfamiliar as likely to kill and eat them. It's never stuff that is actually dangerous either, but something like a plastic bag or an out-of-place clump of leaves.

Luckily, so far, they've tended to regard me as mostly harmless. XD I have it for Kindle on my PC from Amazon.com (gee, that was quick!), so it's one of two (or more!) books to keep me occupied when I move April 1, since I'll be off-line April 1-4. I've been looking for a resource like this, especially considering I have a sort of alien race that'[s essentially intelligent equine in nature (and yea, the entire story' arcs fantasy).
