Firefly... I just started watching it a few months ago and I love it. I can't believe that Fox would cancel such a great show! I mean, come on! I have yet to buy the season on DVD (no money, grrr...) but I have the movie Serenity that follows it.

I'm with you there. I started watching it after seeing the trailer for the movie. My flatmate borrowed the DVD off a guy at her Dojo and we watched it over two days. We fell in love with both Jayne and Wash immediately and when we went to see the movie (the day it came out) we walked home in shock and promising each other that we would write angry letters. But yeah, that's how I got into it.

I got into it after I started watching Terminator because Summer Glau is just amazing. I first watched Serenity and when I saw Jayne, I was instantly in love. I watched the series on Hulu and I was hooked. ^___^

I watched it from day one when it first aired on FOX. You wanna talk angry? I wanted to hurt the people at FOX. Incompetent morons.

When the movie came out I jumped for joy. Literally. My sister thought that I had finally gone completely off my axel.

I however also don't have either the show or the movie on DVD due lack of funds. But I will be getting it soon. Christmas is coming & I'm hoping to convince my cousin to buy them both for me. =D

I started watching the series last Christmas Eve cause my sister came home a forced us to watch it. I'm trying to get my mum to agree to make it a new tradition...she's not so sure! Haha

My sister likes it! I even got my brother-in-law to watch, he loved it. He wants them on DVD too. lol. ♥
(Although my sister is alittle concerned with my Adam Baldwin, Nathan Fillion & Summer Glau obsessions. & Now I've added Thomas Dekker into the mix. She is slightly frightened. -_-')
