The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is a Moorish mosque, built between 784-987, that was converted into a Catholic cathedral in 1236. A beautiful and unique building, it is considered to be one of the greatest examples of Moorish architecture. You should go. The photos don't really capture the atmosphere. From 8:30-9:30 am, admission is free and tour groups are not allowed during that time so it's quieter.
