What would you use this account for? haha since you mainly use this one for all your fanfiction. Maybe once a month you post something from real life other than that it's all fandom related. :p
That could be a good idea. That way if you needed to keep you personal and fic. seperate. The only problem would be if you ever wrote something that was not in fandom were would you put it? ( ie: if you wrote a Suits fic. instead of SPN)
Fandom journals are good if you stick to just one fandom; but what if, heaven forbid, you get bored with SPN and want to take a break and write something else? Where would you put that new work? There is also the question of whether or not you want to work on maintaining two journals.
If you decide that a journal for your fiction is too much work, if you are worried about privacy; you could always put it behind a cut and friends lock the ones you want to have a selective audience.
Or instead of making a new journal for fandom related stuff, you could make a new one for private thoughts. Make it completely anonymous, and write about anything and everything to your heart's content. Just another thought.
Actually I post less fanfic related stuff for my RL friends who don't care about my fanfic, and less RL stuff because most of my fandom friends don't care about that either.
Well, if you have more things you would like to say, but don't get the chance to because of RL friend or fandom made ones, then you totally should have a separate one.
It's why I started mine in the beginning. I had my LJ for almost a year before I got involved in any fandoms. I needed some place to vent the thoughts that were driving me crazy, and what better place than online where no one knew me if I didn't want them to?
You shouldn't have to pick and choose which thoughts, RL or fandom related, you want to share. So, I am totally in favor of the separate journals. Care if I stalk both? LoL. :)

So maybe "fanfic" journal should be more accurate.
