There was nothing for getting over being thrown into the unknown like immediately getting as drunk as possible.
"Interesting thought for you, though," he spoke cheerily, wandering towards what seemed rather pro missing in the alcohol department, "here we are in a place totally foreign-- and here you are having absolutely no knowledge on their history and therefore absolutely no idea which books are any good!"

He followed after Crowley, unsure of where he should be going. All of the blinking signs and bright lights were rather obnoxious, and not in the way that was Heaven's overwhelming glow. He sighed again, mourning the loss of his beloved book shop. "Be a dear and don't remind me? I'd rather not think about all those wonderful first editions..."

Half the time he thought that the woman was more of a spawn of devil then he could ever be- then again, Down Below had never been much of a home for him. He did so love wandering about amongst Humanity. Hell was a real drag.
No worries now, though. The particular door he had picked led into a dimly lit room- a good sign- and while the decor was distinctly metallic, his dark clothes didn't seem too out of place and that smell was certainly reminiscent of alcohol. He dragged the angel over to a corner booth and flopped down in a seat that gave him a good view of- well, everything. "Worry about information later. Let's have a drink first."
Actually, bars had nothing to do with Hell. It just so happened that alcohol naturally got people talking, and while demons more than welcomed the influence, Humanity didn't need any help establishing itself around drunkenness at all.

"It would have been nice to see some of those intriguing novels that Yuuko had. But one cannot lament what is lost forever. Perhaps a drink would be helpful. Do you suppose they have anything we have back at home?"
Home. He frowned again. What would his superiors say if he were here now? Granted, he couldn't help that the Anti-Christ decided to kick them off their dimension. Still, he had to wonder what He was up to. Probably something ineffable, as usual.
