Sandshrew is a very handy Pokemon - it can learn Dig, Cut, Strength, Rock Smash, and Headbutt, which are all useful moves. I am glad you were able to capture one.

Ah, Zubat. They didn't all attack you, did they? Did you manage to run into a Golbat too?

I'm sorry to hear about your Caterpie. I hope that nightfall helps hear re-transition back to the outside world.

He's a good pokemon, brave too. Not afraid in a battle in the slightest - he really stood his ground when I was trying to capture him.

They did, but they seem to be part of the challenge that is the cave network in Mt. Moon. My torch kept disturbing them while it still worked. No, no Golbats. I didn't see a single one.

I hope so too, she's been doing well up until now. If she doesn't start feeling better soon then I'll have to get some advice on how to help her.

Confidence and fearlessness are always admirable qualities :)

If my torch died in the cave, I would have been highly uncomfortable. At any rate, it's good to hear that you made it through without getting into too much trouble with them.

Hmm... Shiraishi Kuranosuke of Celadon City and Oshitari Yuushi of Saffron have a lot of experience with treating Pokemon and Pokemon medicine if you find that things don't get much better.

He's a great addition to my team. I feel like I've got a nice balance, both of types and personalities.

I was uncomfortable. Very. It's only by the grace of my pokemon that I made it out.

Hopefully she will feel better soon, but if not I will definitely ask one of them for some advice.

Dig can be a very handy move if used effectively, especially if you get lost in a cave or need to escape outside quickly I hope you two can master it and strengthen your bonds.

He seems to enjoy digging, so hopefully it won't take too long to master.

Because I caught her?

Since your Girafarig's gained a little more confidence, it might be a good idea to teach her Flash. She'll become a great asset to your cave-exploring team.

Now, if you had troubles with a Butterfree I could help you out but I've got nothing on Caterpies.

That's a good idea, I might be able to explore Mt. Moon properly if I go there again.

When she eventually becomes a Butterfree I'll hit you up for advice then.

You got off easy, avoiding the Zubat. How about Geodude?

Thanks to Squirtle and Cottonee the Geodude weren't too much of a problem. I got lucky on both counts by the sounds of things.
