That's an incredible find and I love seeing the progress of the different prototypes. Some of the choices are strange, and I agree with you Prototype A's paws are the best! Wish they'd stuck with that! This was fascinating.
Hehe, thank you! <3 I love comparing how the design has changed. The paws are really interesting, because it seems that they used more fabric by making the cuffs? Early Pokemon design choices I guess XD
This is so odd; I just mentioned your first Banpresto prototype the other day in passing! Really weird that they keep popping up like this. I wonder who has been keeping them/how they were distributed out to the public.
Congratulations! And thanks for all the comparison photos too, they're a real treat to look at. And now I know to pay closer attention to y!j 'kou plush--I figured most of these would have come from China! The face shape on the new fellow looks much improved (well, almost everything does aside from the weird one-circle on the headpiece...hmm).
Haha, thanks! <3 I seriously don't know. The seller that had two full sets of plushes probably used to work at the company that made them? But this one? And the condition of the plush (cut off tag, loose thread and hole in the claw) makes it look like it was used, not a display piece or even something at the very bottom of a storage box. That's really weird and I would love to know more ^^
Haha, now I scroll way more carefully past all these items XD who knows what else can be hiding there XD
Major congrats on adding this Raikou to your collection!! :D It was so cool to read about the differences between all of the different versions of this Raikou that you have. Thanks for spending the time to take all of these pictures and write descriptions! I really love the fabric they used for the head plate on this prototype, and I feel kinda annoyed that they didn't end up using it haha!
Thank you! <3 I really tried to do my best with the photos and capture all different angles and details (but if there's anything that can be added to the gallery, I can take more ^^ )
The different fabric would have been much better on the final plush - it's still in great shape after all those years!
I saw on the discord but forgot to comment then, but a huge major congrats! I wonder why they chose to go the vinyl route, the fabric looks SO. NICE. compared to the peeling vinyl that they went with on the final product. Now you need a prototype Entei to finish the set!!
Aww, thank you <3 Yes, I agree, the fabric would have been much better! It's really an interesting choice, changing that back to vinyl, and I'd love to know their decission process ^^
I'd LOVE to find Entei too! <3 It would be great if he resurfaced somehow!
Hehehe, Dragon Ball characters, of all things XDDD https://imgur.com/yDlv7op.jpg (It's a photo from August, I have even more items now ^^' )

Now you just need a second prototype Entei!
