Just snapped the paw foot of my Lucario figure when reposing some figures on my shelf. Tried to superglue the peg back on and accidently glued the moving part of the joint and the peg. Then tried to pry the moving part away from each other and accidently snapped it again and the peg is now stuck in the hole and the two moving pieces are fused

Sorry it happened to you. Best to take a deep breath and remember it will be another day tomorrow.
Those Shodo figures are very brittle. I have a few and I really don't like them because of that. It shouldn't be that hard to fix if you just want him to pose a certain way and display it.

Thank you for your concern. I think it's mostly the older sets that are more brittle, or maybe it's because the newer sets are more or less assembled? In any case pre poss definatly sounds like the safest option. Or I could try and fit it with a new joint. Only issue is could be risky as a Dremel would have to be used to hollow out the hole again. And what if my hand slips and I Dremel myself or worse make the leg even more janked up (I'm in the UK so healthcare is free, the shodo figure however.....not so much).

My condolences. I think the later series are more sturdy or that might just be because some are more or less assembled such as the Luxray. It's still sad to know it's something that's happened to others.
Actually, do you know when the next series will be out because before they were being released within a few months of each other. Is the line discontinued?

I don't know, but that's a great question! The last set I heard about was the one with Arceus, Glaceon, Alakazam, and Dragapult that released in November 2021. Even with their issues, I hope that they continue the line because it's fun to have affordable poseable figures!

Ditto! I especially love the Lugia Shodo. I'm cool with having mostly assembled as it saves my fingertips from pain.
