Swirlix and Slurpuff are great! I collect them both, and most of their stuff is easy to come by, but the stuff that isn't is pretty damn hard to get lol. The Swirlix Pokedoll just went OOS at the USPC and he's pretty expensive in JP. The MPC Slurpuff is also pretty expensive, usually ~ $30 unless you catch a good deal. I think Suru has one for $20ish MWT right now. Most MPC plush are a mixture of felt, velboa and minky fabrics.

I knew my eyes weren't deceiving me when I saw the Swirlix Poke Doll in stock one day at the US PC site! | was sort of doubtful and thought it might have been an error since that plush was released sooooo long ago. At the time I saw it I was still unsure if I wanted to start a Swirlix/Slurpuff collection, but now I regret not ordering one xD I wouldn't mind the JP version though! I think Pokevault might still have it, but at the off chance someone on Mercari JP is getting rid of a collection of MWT Swirlix/Slurpuff plush I'll check there first.

Sorry I don’t have any info on your cotton candy pups! Just wanted to comment a little on weeding.

I pretty much only do it if there’s been an extended period of time where I’m not really enjoying my stuff. If you’re happy with and enjoy your collection, I’d say don’t part with it if you think you might regret it later! What I usually do is just store away things I don’t feel like looking at and they are always there for later. I’ve boxed away a huge chunk of my plushies and will probably just donate a bunch of them eventually, but for now they are safely nestled away in case I change my mind :’)

If storage isn’t really an option for you, I think small weeding sessions like you mentioned aren’t a bad thing! Also, if you’re worried about your collection becoming unmanageable (I’ve had similar thoughts, haha), try being more selective of what you buy. I used to buy things almost just for the sake of buying it, but being more discerning has made me a lot happier with what I own <3

I currently live in an apartment, but will be moving into a new house in June. So most of my collection is being kept in their moving boxes at the moment, but I've had some time recently to take out a few things that I knew I didn't want anymore. So yeah I guess I am just worried about my collection being unmanageable, lol! But at the same time, if an item seems like it will go out of stock quick due to popularity, I don't like taking the risk with waiting. I did that last year with a certain Eevee plush and regret it later because none of the usual Japanese merch stores I go to got any more in stock, so I had to pay a bit extra to get one on eBay ( ... )

Awww I love them! I think the Poke Doll and Petit are my favorites out of Swirlix plush because of the fluffy fabric xD we need more fluffy Swirlix plushies!

So in terms of the personal shopper problem: sadly if you're wanting someone to hand-pick something for you, IG is the way to go because the shopper live streams themself while picking your items out. I'm lucky enough to have close friends in Japan that can video chat with me while picking plushies out so I don't have any experience using IG streamers personally. Just make sure you pick one that is actually willing to work with you because many of them are highly disorganized and might end up picking the first plush they see for you unless they actively are communicating! Some of them have what I would consider too many customer requests to be picky about the plush they grab. Just a fair warning ( ... )
