Hello! I have a question: what is the smallest kind of Pokémon plush ever produced? I've looked around but I haven't found anything pocket-sized (the size of a Tomy figure, for example) so I'm not sure plushes this small were ever produced. Keychain plushes count too ( Read more... )

Hi!

I think the smallest plush I personally own/have seen would be the Pokeball throw plush line:

Although it's not the smallest, I would recommend Pokémon Fit (what it's called in Japan)/Pokémon Sitting Cuties (what it's called in the West) plush. They are designed to fit in the palm of your hand, hence the name "Fit." This series has a plush of every Pokémon from Gen 1 to Gen 4 so you're bound to find a favorite or two!

One of the smallest lines I know of is the Pokemon bell plush - but these guys are rare and expensive. They encompass the original 151 kanto set and come in little boxes.

I also recommend the bell plush. They're cute in size and really nice to display even out of their box. The boxed ones can be expensive but they are fairly common so finding a cheaper one does happen. Especially from Japanese auction sites. They are first gen but only a handful of Pokemon got made. Here's a pic of the sets from the boxes:

The Bandai Pokemon Friends plush line are pretty small, about 3-4 inches! The first sets are some of the oldest Pokemon plush ever made, so quality and cute factor are much less refined, but both definitely improved over time (and I think even the oldest are charming). The downside is that the selection is mostly Gen 1 and 2, with only the starters and a select few others for Gens 3 and 4. You can see information about the sets here and here.
