Hi! I send packages to my family in Ireland often and always put sweets in, including fancier boxed chocolates. Generally you should be fine if all goes well! Sometimes boxes will be mishandled but its not really preventable :( Id just make sure to bubble wrap them good and use a sturdy box for sending. Generally they take about 2ish weeks to arrive, as long as customs doesn't decide to rip them open.

Thanks for the tips! I'll for sure bubble wrap the box of chocolates that I'm sending :) I'm hoping the shipping duration will be about that long as well. I've once ordered chocolate snacks from Japan, package arrived after a month had passed from ordering which was very unexpected. It was pretty obvious that the chocolate on the snacks had melted sometime during the shipping but they were otherwise still edible.

I've bought overseas chocolate, but expedited shipping was used every time, and nothing arrived melted.
